Sykes-Pickavant have just released a new innovative mobile unit, that streamlines coolant management for large vehicles like HGVs, PSVs, and buses.
With a focus on safety and efficiency, it allows technicians to:
- Drain coolant
- Identify leaks
- Clean the cooling system
- Vacuum and refill the cooling circuit
The unit prioritises safety by capturing all coolant, eliminating the risk of spills on the workshop floor or during engine dismantling. Additionally, a pressure relief valve on the waste fluid tank provides an extra layer of protection.
It also features separate tanks to prevent coolant types from mixing and contaminating each other. Each 20L tank can be dedicated to:
- Used Coolant
- EV Coolant (one tank)
- Endothermic Coolant (two tanks)
