TEXA launches R1234yf and R744 air con training course

TEXA has announced the launch of a new IMI-accredited training course to its programme.

Operating and service principles of R1234yf and R744 (CO2) air conditioning systems is a one-day course offering an introduction to new low GWP refrigerants.

The course, which will first be held in Nelson, Lancashire on 5 March, introduces new technology and systems along with the health and safety surrounding these refrigerants.

It also covers the appropriate safety precautions, equipment required, practical sections for refrigerant identification, R744 system service process and forming gas leak detection.

TEXA recommends that candidates hold a valid F-Gas certificate to attend this course.
