Thinkcar UK donates diagnostic tool as raffle prize

YouTube channel raises money for Prostate Cancer Research

YouTube channel RMS Diagnostics, known for its automotive repair videos, is raising money for Prostate Cancer Research with a special raffle.

They’ve partnered with Thinkcar UK to offer a Thinkcar THINKTOOL Lite diagnostic tool (worth £550) as the prize, with all proceeds going to charity.

The raffle is inspired by Bob Shervill, owner of RMS Diagnostics and a mechanic with personal experience of cancer within his family. Tickets are just £1.

“We already work with Bob and the team,” said Alex Gillbanks Managing Director of Impact Diagnostics, the specialist supplier behind Thinkcar UK, “so when he asked us if we could donate a tool for the raffle, we immediately said yes.”

The Thinkcar THINKTOOL Lite is a user-friendly tool valued by technicians for its wireless diagnostics and automatic vehicle identification.

This cause is particularly close to Alex’s heart as he lost a former colleague, Luke Alden, to cancer earlier this year.

“We would like to honour his memory by raising money and awareness,” he said.

The RMS Diagnostics team will also be appearing alongside YouTubers Darren Quinn (Mechanic Mindset) at the Thinkcar UK stand at Mechanex Sandown on 12-13 November.

The raffle closes on Friday 15 November 2024 at 8pm or when all tickets are sold.
