TMD Friction launches DON LCV brakes into UK aftermarket
TMD Friction has expanded its range of DON brake pads.

Global OE friction manufacturer, TMD Friction, has launched a new range of DON brake pads for the light commercial vehicle sector.

Following the introduction of DON PC last year, DON brake components are now available for the light commercial vehicle sector.

With 83 new references, TMD Friction has covered the majority of the light commercial vehicle car parc with the introduction.

The attractive price and performance balance of DON brake pads can increase vehicle efficiency even further, particularly for vans that are designed for intensive use over short trips including VW T5, Ford Transit, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and VW Crafter series.

The transporter range is also more environmentally friendly as the pads are 100 per cent copper-free.

Copper particle deposits on the road can be extremely damaging to the environment.

Alongside this, the pads haven’t compromised on quality of performance and have been tested and certified beyond the ECE-R90 standard.

Nick Hayes, PC sales manager at TMD Friction, said: “At TMD Friction, we are familiar with how the market flows and want to offer an option to suit to the current market values, while meeting customer demands.

“We have expanded our range of DON brake pads in order to provide customers with an even greater number of alternatives within this sector.

“As vehicle fleets age, operators are forever searching for reasonably priced, high-performing aftermarket parts, even in the light commercial vehicle sector.

“The newly launched Don LCV range will perfectly complement our premium brand, Textar, providing a number of solutions for our customers.”
