The announcement of the winner of Top Technician 2017 will be made at Top Tech Live on Saturday, 16 September at the Henry Ford Academy in Daventry, but that’s just part of what’s on offer.

Top Tech Live will bring an exclusive Ford technical seminar and provide a whole host of presentations too, including a talk from Andy Savva who will be going over how the way you run your workshop relates to your bottom line.

Other expert talks will be made by David Massey from Autoinform will be there to talk about business marketing and social media and Steve Smith from Pico will be letting you in on some special techniques with the Oscilloscope, while John Batten explains the overall diagnostic process.

Technical talks

Joining them will be Rob Lewis from Jaguar Land Rover will be looking at product technology as well as Snap-on, who will be looking at occupant and pedestrian safety while Peter Coombes of Tech Club will be on hand to discuss the potential impact of autonomous vehicles.

Eliot Smith from Hyundai will be talking electric and fuel cell vehicles, while Our Virtual Academy will be looking at EVs and hybrids.

Tickets are £82 plus VAT, but participants in the competition get a special discount and pay just £62 plus VAT.
