Fleet operators told to ‘save time and money’ with in-house commercial brake testing

Specialist supplier of BM Solutions brake testers, V-Tech says commercial fleet operators can cut costs and save time on brake testing with an in-house solution.

The DVSA advises that large commercial vehicles undergo frequent brake testing, from 6-10 week intervals dependent on the type of vehicle.

V-Tech say for many commercial fleet companies this can be costly.

Its experienced team helps businesses manage commercial vehicles by bringing their brake testing in-house using professional, high-quality range of brake testers.

A V-Tech spokesperson said: “V-Tech don’t just supply the equipment but will work with your team to find the right specifications for your commercial needs.

“What’s more is they can accurately show you how much money you will save with their clever return of investment system.”

Fox decided to invest in V-Tech’s BM20200 Commercial Mobile Brake Tester as they have recently increased their number of vehicles, therefore required a more cost effective, time efficient way of carrying out brake testing.

It made complete business sense for them to bring brake testing in-house rather than continuing to pay thousands of pounds having this done externally which leads to vehicle and staff downtime.

Since V-Tech’s Engineers supplied and installed the equipment, Fox Owmby have agreed on a Calibration Contract whereby V-Tech will continue to maintain and service their equipment every six months to ensure it is performing as it should be, another fantastic benefit of buying equipment from V-Tech – the specialist suppliers of brake testing equipment.
