WAECO to launch new ASC 7 Series A/C service units at Automechanika

WAECO will showcase its new ASC 7 series air conditioning service units at the upcoming Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt.

The completely redesigned series boasts several user-friendly features, including a new “all-in-view” display with digital pressure gauges and a progress bar. Additionally, it offers four ports for compressor oils and UV additives, eliminating the need for frequent connection changes. The WiFi connection capability is now integrated, further simplifying connectivity.

The ASC 7 series offers a choice between standard models and “Low Emission” (LE) models for environmentally conscious workshops. The LE models minimise refrigerant loss through a dedicated waste oil container and a strategically integrated vacuum pump, aligning with stricter environmental regulations and the potential scarcity of R134a refrigerant in Europe.

The ASC 7.3 and 7.3 LE succeed the popular ASC 6300 models, while the ASC 7.4 and 7.4 LE replace the ASC 6400 series. These new units maintain certification for four refrigerants (R1234yf, R134a, R456A, R513A) and require a compatible connection kit with hoses, adapters, and initial oil/additive fill.

WAECO will also introduce the ASC 7.744, a dedicated service unit for CO2 air conditioning systems becoming increasingly common in electric vehicles, catering to the growing demand for servicing these new technologies alongside standard A/C systems.

The brand also highlights the importance of servicing electric vehicle air conditioning systems and offers resources on leak detection and electric compressor technology. Alongside these new additions, WAECO will showcase its expanding range of original-quality replacement A/C parts for electric vehicles, such as Tesla.

You can meet WAECO at Automechanika in Hall 9.0 Stand C35.
