GS Yuasa, a global battery technology leader, has announced a new partnership with professional European drifter Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni for the 2025 season.
The collaboration will see the Yuasa brand prominently featured on Baggsy’s fleet of high-performance drift cars as he competes in major international drift events across Europe. This includes rounds of the Drift Masters European Championship (DMEC) in Italy, Spain, Ireland, Latvia, Germany, and Poland, as well as appearances at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Baggsy, a former British Drift Champion, is a well-known figure in European motorsport, recognised for his driving style and custom vehicle builds. The partnership aims to connect GS Yuasa with a younger audience across Europe and reinforce the brand’s association with high-performance engineering. Baggsy’s vehicles will display the Yuasa brand throughout the 2025 season, supported by joint content, event activities, and digital campaigns.
Yuasa batteries are a leading choice for motorists and workshops across Europe, known for their quality, reliability, and OE specification. The award-winning YBX automotive battery range provides performance for conventional, start-stop, and auxiliary applications.
The collaboration, which began at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last year, has now been expanded across Europe for 2025. This partnership is part of GS Yuasa’s broader marketing strategy to strengthen Yuasa’s position as a trusted and recognised premium battery brand globally.
Fans can see the partnership in action at DMEC Italy this week.
