The DVSA has this week published MOT test quality information guidance for MOT testers and managers.

The official guidance explains how to view and interpret MOT test quality information and test logs.

Test quality information is data about the MOT tests carried out and should be used as a starting point to monitor standards of testing, the DVSA has said.

The two types of information available the MOT testing service include a summary of pass rates and a record of every MOT test carried out.

The DVSA uses this information when preparing for site visits.
