WhoCanFixMyCar.com is celebrating its fifth annual garage awards and have now connected over three million drivers to local garages across the UK.
Although unable to congregate in person at what is normally a large celebratory evening, garages are being awarded for their tireless work throughout the last impossibly challenging 12 months.
The awards ceremony comprised of 24 categories.
Over 100 nominees were shortlisted and acknowledged for their excellence out of thousands of garages and mechanics registered on the site.
The awards’ headline sponsors for this year’s awards is RAC Approved Garages, one of the UK’s most progressive motoring organisations, providing services for both private and business motorists.
Each sponsor made a donation to Ben, the charity dedicated to supporting people who work, or have worked, in the automotive industry and their family/dependents emotionally and economically.
Al Preston, co-founder of WhoCanFixMyCar, said: “We want to thank our entire garage network for their phenomenal work over the last 12 months, they have faced a huge number of challenges in what has been an incredibly difficult year.”
“All have worked tirelessly to keep Britain moving at a time when we have relied on our cars more than ever over public transport.”
“The WhoCanFixMyCar Garage Awards showcases exceptional garages throughout the UK that deserve to be celebrated.
“The commitment of all winners and nominees has been duly acknowledged and although we are not able to celebrate in person, we couldn’t not celebrate their achievements by hosting this year’s awards – albeit in a much different way.
“All 24 winners use our platform with utmost success and conduct their business outstandingly with true prowess: building up an excellent reputation with customers.
“Here’s to next year, hopefully an evening that can be celebrated together in full force”.
