Hella and its joint venture companies Behr Hella Service and Hella Gutmann Solutions, displayed its comprehensive range of original equipment and aftermarket components, alongside its highly regarded workshop equipment.
The Hella stand also hosted its own competition, with visitors being required to fill out an entry form with the chance to win a Limited ‘UK’ edition mega macs 56 diagnostic tool worth £4,000.
Neil Hilton, head of business development at Hella Gutmann Solutions gave a seminar on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), discussing the impact of ADAS technology on the market and how important correct calibration is to vehicles fitted with this technology.
The Workshop of the Future gave visitors the opportunity to look at what is innovative and relevant in terms of service and repair.
Hella Gutmann Solutions showcased its camera/radar system calibration (CSC) tool in conjunction with its mega macs diagnostic equipment, which enabled visitors to experience the challenges of, and the aftermarket solution for, ADAS recalibration.
Neil Hilton, Hella Gutmann Solutions said: “We’ve had great success in this exhibition, because we’ve been involved in the ‘Workshop of the Future’, the seminar programme, as well as holding a very popular competition for a mega macs 56, we’ve had a busy stand and a lot of business created from being at Automechanika Birmingham.
“We sold several full CSC tool packages on the ‘Workshop of the Future’ feature area, which demonstrates the interest the visitors have in investing in their businesses and how much this event offered in progressing business relations.”
