Hickleys reveals how garages can get vehicle security codes
Hickleys' code service goes from strength to strength.

Diagnostics specialist, Hickleys is reminding garages of things to consider during the key programming process, including how to get the vehicle security code and mechanical key cut code.

Hickleys’ code service offers security pincodes, key cut codes, immobiliser codes, radio codes and EKA codes via a simple online system using the vehicle’s registration number or VIN.

Once garages have passed security checks, codes can be requested on the Hickleys website.

The availability of codes is always changing, so only the codes that are currently available are displayed on the code request page.

Each code is priced individually and can be paid by credit card, PayPal or charged to a trade account.

Once the code is ready, the automated system will send the correct code by text and email directly to the user’s phone or PC.

Managing director, Robin Huish said: “The service has built up an excellent reputation and grown from week to week.

“We believe this comes from the success of three key elements; a service you can rely on, a very competitive price and a rapid response time.

“For instance Peugeot security and key codes are only £20.70 and normally arrive within the hour.

“Vauxhall security and key codes can be purchased without any supporting documentation and only cost £35.50.

“Hyundai security and key codes are only ten pound and arrives within a few minutes, the list goes on and on.”

How it works

After agreeing to the terms of service, users will be presented with a list of vehicle manufacturers to select from.

Selecting one of these manufacturers will show all available codes for that manufacturer, along with pricing information and the estimated time that it will take to obtain the code.

After selecting the required code, users will be asked to enter vehicle registration number, and in some cases some other information about the vehicle, plus a mobile phone number.

After proceeding through the checkout process, codes will be applied for.

At this stage, unless Hickleys cannot supply the code, the user will receive an SMS text message and an email with the required information.
