Automechanika Birmingham 2025, returning to the NEC Birmingham from June 3rd to 5th, has unveiled its programme of key speakers and features. The event will host a series of talks and panel discussions across various hubs, aiming to provide insights into the latest developments and challenges within the automotive aftermarket.
The Workshop Hub, sponsored by Delphi and in association with Autotechnician magazine, will offer technical seminars covering topics such as calibration, diagnostics and repair, customer service, product quality, and technological innovations. Key speakers in this hub include James Dillon from Technical Topics, David Roberts from The Race Group, Arron Littlewood of Castrol, Mark Bristow of ISN Europe, and Jay Wheatley of Absolutely Automotive.
The Aftermarket Hub, sponsored by eBay, will feature discussions on current trends and advice for future-proofing businesses. Seminars will cover talent training and retention (Amy Blick, exhilHRate), EV training and repairs (Matt Cleevely, Cleevely EV & Motors), the IAAF’s Right to Repair campaign (Mark Field), tyre safety awareness (David Leighton and Ben Smith, Auto3iii), and the impact of AI and automation (James Dillon).
The Innovation4Mobility Hub, in partnership with the SMMT, will explore future mobility topics, including new technology, electrification, battery supply chain, logistics, autonomous mobility, sustainability, and net zero. Attendees can connect with start-ups and industry leaders such as Arthur Jury and Félicité Jarrosson from TotalEnergies, Max Nagle from SER Group, and Sam Coleman of Stringo AB.
Automechanika Birmingham aims to be a key destination for independent garages, Auto and MOT Centres, fast fitters, mobile repairers, technicians, workshops, and other automotive professionals. The event will feature over 550 exhibitors from more than 25 countries, showcasing their latest products, technology, and advice.
Event Director Joanne Knowles commented that the speaker line-up is the most comprehensive to date, offering training and advice relevant to all areas of automotive businesses, with the aim of driving standards forward in the motor trade.
