The UK’s leading automotive aftermarket trade show, Mechanex-PMM Live, celebrated a successful 2024 event with a 20% increase in visitors compared to the previous year. This marks a significant post-pandemic high for the show, which recently held its 20th anniversary at Sandown Park.
Over 60 exhibitors showcased their latest products and services, with attendees including workshop owners, technicians, and apprentices. The event offered a mix of hands-on equipment demonstrations, exclusive show offers, and educational seminars.
Show organiser Rob Gilham commented on the show’s future: “After 20 years in the aftermarket, it’s great to see Mechanex-PMM Live continue to grow and attract new audiences. This year saw a fantastic mix of workshop owners, technicians and apprentices which proves the next 20 years will be just as fulfilling. Walking around the hall over the two days of the show made it clear that there is a buzz and an excitement in this industry which we are looking forward to bringing into our two Mechanex-PMM Live events next year, at Harrogate and Surrey.”
Exhibitor feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with companies praising the opportunity to connect with potential customers and gain valuable market insights. Visitors also appreciated the chance to see new technologies, attend informative seminars, and interact directly with suppliers.
Mechanex-PMM Live will return in 2025 with two events – one in Harrogate on 15/16 May and another in Surrey on a date to be confirmed. Limited exhibitor space is available for the Harrogate event, and companies are encouraged to contact the organisers for information.
