Simply Diagnostics success

Simply Diagnostics success

The first Simply Diagnostics event, held over a baking hot July weekend, pulled in crowds of visitors, despite traffic chaos and ahead of the temptation of relaxing in the summer sun.

Instead it was business all the way, albeit in relaxed surroundings, as garage owners and technicians took in a vibrant mix of presentations, vehicle demonstrations and exhibition stands.

No less than ten different vehicle demonstrations showcased working processes, the latest kit and diagnostic opportunities. These were hosted by product specialists across dedicated subject areas including air con, keys, battery equipment and scopes.

Meanwhile, it proved to be standing-room-only at the seminars for some as James Dillon, Frank Massey and Steve Carters’ presentations drew hushed attention and keen questions from the crowds.

“This was our 1st Simply Diagnostics, the mixture of demonstration, presentation and great prices is a winning combination”, said Robin Huish, Technical director of Hickleys. “It takes a lot of work to put on a show of this size and I was so pleased by the comments from customers new and old. We want to thank all the people that attended Simply Diagnostics and helped to make it a great success. We hope to be repeating the event next year and look forward to seeing you again”.

Customers took time to express thanks too.

Colin Calder of C&B Auto Engineering services said: “I think it was excellent and very professional and I enjoyed it very much. I would like to have sat in on more presentations but I would have needed to attend both days to fit everything in. Anyway, thank you for a brilliant show and a magic day”.

BS garage said: “Thank you for a great day at Simply Diagnostics. Very well organised and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere as opposed to the “hard sell”. Great choice of seminar speakers to help us keep up with modern technology. I would recommend Hickleys every time”.
