Among the 38,000 people who took part in this year’s London Marathon were three runners raising money for BEN, the automotive industry charity.

Dan Gilkes, Editor of Van Fleet World, Wil Barber, Area Manager at Perfect Placement Ltd and Luke Rowland from Euro Car Parts raised the BEN flag during the marathon, which was the biggest in the event’s 35-year history.

Bekki Chandler, BEN’s Events Executive, said: “We are extremely grateful to our runners who took part in this iconic event.

“I felt privileged to be at the finish point and cheering our wonderful runners over the finishing line.

“This is one of many challenge events BEN takes part in each year but is also one of the most emotional and exciting to be a part of, well done to everyone involved.”
