More than 50 firefighters attended a large blaze, which involved gas cylinders, at a car repair and neighbouring furniture workshop in Hampshire earlier this week.
One eyewitness described seeing “a huge explosion” and a “fire ball at least 50 to 60ft high” coming from the building in Denmead, near Waterlooville.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 4.00pm on January 2nd, 2019 and brought the blaze under control by 6.00pm.
Two men were treated for minor burns and a cylinder valve was later found in a nearby field.
A spokesman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue service said it had received lots of calls with reports that large plumes of black smoke were visible from surrounding areas.
Photos released by Waterlooville Fire Station show the aftermath of the fire which destroyed the Denmead workshop.
