GSF Car Parts is warning drivers to expect a surge in demand for MOT services in the coming weeks. According to the DVSA, an estimated 3.4 million MOT tests are expected in September 2024 alone, a significant increase due to pandemic-related extensions granted in 2020.
To meet this surge, GSF Car Parts is leveraging its extensive network of over 190 branches nationwide. They have taken proactive steps to ensure a steady supply of essential components, from brake pads to filters, enabling garages to meet the increased demand without compromising on quality or service.
Steve Horne, CEO of GSF Car Parts, emphasised the importance of drivers being prepared. “With the record-breaking number of MOT tests expected, it’s crucial for drivers to book their appointments in advance,” he said. “At GSF Car Parts, we’re committed to supporting garages and ensuring they have the necessary parts to keep vehicles roadworthy.”
