ATS Euromaster, a leading tyre and automotive service provider, is proposing the closure of its Trowbridge branch as part of a nationwide review of its operations.
The company, which operates over 235 branches across the UK, is considering closing approximately 86 sites in response to challenges such as overcapacity, rising costs, and sluggish growth in the UK automotive market.
The proposed closures could impact over 400 employees.
However, ATS Euromaster is expanding its mobile tyre-fitting service to offer greater convenience to customers. This service is now available to both retail and business customers, with a minimum order of two tyres required.
The company has attributed the need for this restructuring to inflationary pressures, which are impacting the cost of labour, parts, and materials.
Despite these challenges, ATS Euromaster remains committed to providing high-quality service to its customers and is exploring new business models, including a franchise model, to ensure long-term sustainability.
