The Bromley Pageant of Motoring has been forced to relocate to a new venue 30 miles away due to the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in London.
To avoid the £12.50 ULEZ charge, organisers have moved the event from Norman Park, Bromley, to the South of England Showground in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.
While most classic cars attending the event would have been exempt from the ULEZ charge due to their age, some modern classic car drivers would have faced the fee. The new location outside the ULEZ zone ensures accessibility for all attendees.
Organizers Pippa and Jason Griffiths expressed their decision to relocate, emphasising their commitment to the event’s success and the need to find a suitable venue within the ULEZ-free zone.
The South of England Showground offers ample facilities and space to accommodate the Bromley Pageant of Motoring. The new venue also provides camping options for attendees on the Saturday evening before the event.
Tickets for the 27 July, 2025 event are available online at early bird prices. The event promises a fantastic experience for classic car owners and enthusiasts.
The Mayor of London’s office has been contacted for comment regarding the impact of the ULEZ expansion on events like the Bromley Pageant of Motoring.
