A Chichester-based motorcycle repair business, Mono Motorcycles, has successfully opened a new MOT testing facility thanks to significant support from the local biking community.
The husband-and-wife run business, established in 2017, outgrew its original space and expanded into a neighbouring unit. However, additional funds were needed to equip the new workshop for MOT testing.
A GoFundMe campaign raised £2,000, and a loyal customer provided a further £10,000 interest-free loan. With these funds, Mono Motorcycles purchased the necessary equipment and completed the required training.
The new MoT centre officially opened on July 28th, with a celebration to thank those who contributed to the project.
The business is now an official CCM service and repair centre, offering a wider range of services to its customers.
