A garage worker in Reading has been arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified and without insurance. The individual allegedly used a customer’s car that was being serviced at the garage.
Thames Valley Police seized the vehicle and confirmed that the driver remains in custody. The garage had reportedly allowed the employee to use the customer’s car.
The incident highlights the potential risks that some owners face when entrusting vehicles to third parties for repairs or even routine servicing.
