A generous £2,877 has been raised in memory of Kieran Renwick, a popular truck mechanic who tragically died in an accident last year.
The funds were donated to the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) and The Firefighters’ Charity. GNAAS provided critical care on the day of the accident, while Leyburn Fire Station attended the scene to assist.
Kieran’s brother and sister, Fin and Phoebe, presented the donations to representatives from both organizations. Fin expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the emergency services.
Fin is also running the Great North Run in October to further raise funds for GNAAS, with over £1,100 already pledged.
