AP Auto Repairs, a garage located on the Water-ma-Trout industrial estate in Helston, has issued a warning to local businesses following a theft on Sunday night.
CCTV footage from the garage shows two men approaching a white Transit van parked outside, where a third person was waiting in the driver’s seat. One of the men is seen carrying two alloy wheels to the rear of the van.
The incident occurred after 10 pm on 9 March 2025.
Aaron Pryor, the garage owner, confirmed that the stolen alloy wheels were damaged and intended for disposal. However, he is concerned that the same individuals may have targeted other garages in the area.
Elsie Pryor, Aaron’s wife, has shared an appeal on Facebook, requesting that other businesses in the vicinity review their CCTV footage to obtain the registration number of the white Transit van.
The Facebook post details the theft and requests information regarding the vehicle’s registration. It states that all information will be passed to the police and advises businesses to secure their belongings.
