Andrew Ruellan, owner of Ruellans Garage in Jersey, has been crowned the 2024 Technician of the Year. #
The prestigious award, presented by Aftermarket Online, recognises the top technical talent in the UK automotive industry.
Ruellan triumphed over thousands of entrants from both franchised and independent workshops, undergoing rigorous testing across multiple rounds. The final round involved a day-long practical assessment, where he outperformed nine other skilled technicians.
“Winning this award is a dream come true,” said Ruellan. “The competition was tough, and I’m proud to have represented Jersey on the national stage.”
The award recognizes Ruellan’s passion for automotive technology and his commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements, particularly in electric vehicle technology.
