A mechanic was fined by Thames Valley Police after being caught driving a customer’s Audi S3 without insurance.
The incident occurred when the mechanic was stopped by police in Reading.
Officers recognised the driver from a previous incident in 2021.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the mechanic was driving the customer’s vehicle without the necessary insurance coverage.
As a result, the driver received six penalty points on their driving licence and a £300 fine.
