TPS’s summer of love raises over £10,000 for charity

TPS has successfully completed its annual Summer of Love charity initiative. The campaign raised over £10,000 for national and local charitable organisations.

The initiative encouraged TPS employees to participate in fundraising activities, such as bake sales, dress-down days, raffles, and physical challenges like the Three Peaks Challenge. Additionally, teams volunteered their time to support various charities.

Kayleigh Clare, Events and Communications Manager at TPS, praised the team’s enthusiasm and dedication to the campaign. She emphasised the positive impact of the initiative, both in terms of fundraising and community engagement.

Notable fundraising achievements:

  • TPS Bolton raised £3,509 for MIND charity through the Three Peaks Challenge.
  • TPS Nottingham raised £1,387 for Help for Heroes and Lincoln and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance charities.
  • TPS Swansea generated £591 for the Forget Me Knot charity by cycling 573km.
  • TPS Birmingham donated £480 worth of toys to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Volunteering highlights:

  • Nine members of the TPS Head Office team volunteered at Age UK Milton Keynes.
  • The TPS Edinburgh team supported a local care home by organising a day trip.

A total of 19 teams participated in fundraising or volunteering activities during the Summer of Love campaign. TPS say they’re proud of the team’s efforts and the positive impact they have made on the community.
