The Garage Equipment Association (GEA) has appointed Julian Woods as its new president at the associations recent AGM, held at the GEA offices in Daventry last month.
Woods manages the under vehicle product range for Snap-on UK, which includes vehicle lifts, wheel alignment, wheel balancers, tyre changers, roller brake testers, MOT and AC equipment.
He said: “The GEA has become recognised as our industry’s body, for example, it has been raising standards within our industry by assessing and accrediting vehicle lift and MOT equipment installation and service engineers.
“During my term as president I will focus on improving the standards of the whole industry and to encourage better training for young people.”
