A survey of over 60,000 motorists by Which? has identified the plug-in hybrid version of the Range Rover Evoque as Britain’s least-loved car. The survey revealed that owners reported lengthy repair times, with some vehicles off the road for extended periods while awaiting parts.
The Range Rover Evoque, despite its popularity and celebrity endorsements, received a customer satisfaction rating of just 57% for the plug-in hybrid model (2020-present). Owners cited issues with the 21-day average repair time, the vehicle’s electric range, its size, and difficulties sourcing spare parts.
One owner from Manchester described the car as “less than reliable, particularly in the first two years,” and the “most frustrating” car they had ever owned. Another reported their hybrid Evoque being off the road for over 10 months due to delays in obtaining spare parts.
In contrast, the petrol and diesel versions of the Evoque fared better in the survey, with fewer reported faults and an average repair time of seven days. This model achieved a customer satisfaction score of 73%.
