A Skoda driver has upset his neighbours after spray-painting the road outside his home in Gloucester to mark an exclusive parking space for his car.
The bright green and red paint was sprayed on the road in front of dropped kerb and the words ‘No Parking Here’ scrawled across a fence.
There also appears to be a dedicated motorbike space too.
Residents have reacted with anger and shock.
One told Gloucestershire Live: “We did have a little laugh about it at first, but we have to live with it.”
Another resident who lives nearby said: “I came in from work late last night and I saw a Skoda parked in the spot.
“I first thought there were LED lights under the car and thought ‘that looks pretty cool’.
“But then I realised it was spray paint.
“I said ‘Oh my god, what have they done?’
“It’s just bringing the whole street down – there are two schools nearby and people drive past a lot.
“It could be a case of the ‘Broken Window’ effect, once people see this and think it’s okay they could graffiti other areas.
“To be honest, it looks rubbish.
“We did have a little laugh about it at first, but we have to live with it.”
