Summer workshop wear for technicians
Essential workwear for the warmer months from Dickies.

When it comes to protection, the must-have for mechanics and technicians is the Redhawk coverall.

Not only does it guard against grease stains, it has been thoughtfully designed with concealed stud-fronted pockets to prevent scratches to paintwork.

The Redhawk range provides a good value, practical and yet highly stylish range that has been created in polycotton for everyday use.

New this season, the ED24/7 everyday trousers are tough but light and importantly free of any exposed metals such as zips and buttons.

Popular products are men’s action trousers or the sturdier triple-stitched super work trousers that may suit the technician.

They have deep cargo style pockets and a hammer loop for carrying essential tools.

The Eisenhower premium range comprises four trouser styles with technology such as Teflon coating to resist grease, stains and water penetrating the main fabric.

Cordura fabric is extremely hard wearing and has been added over the outer knee and hem guards.

All these products have external knee pad pockets that can hold Dickies lightweight knee pads which conform to industry EN14404 standard.

Eisenhower premium shorts have Cordura and Teflon coating with handy holster pockets.

A popular product is the Dickies Industry300 3/4 length trousers which may be somewhat shorter than full-length trousers but they come with deep cargo pockets and are triple stitched for stress areas.

To safeguard your feet from falling heavy objects, you’ll need the petrol resistant Antrim safety boot or the Tiber safety trainer.

Both have protective toe caps and oil resistant soles though the Antrim has a midsole for underfoot protection and the Tiber is metal free.
