Shaftec has announced its parts coverage is set to increase by more than 600 during 2019.

Shaftec, the aftermarket transmission brand, has announced it is expecting 654 new-to-range product references this year, with all its references unaffected by any post-Brexit customs-related issues.

In 2019 to date, the business has introduced in excess of 200 new references.

These include electric power steering (EPS) columns for Ford Fiesta mkVII (2008-2013), Vauxhall Corsa E (2014-present) and Vauxhall Zafira mkIII P12 (2011-present).

Fast access

Shaftec director Tom Curtis commented: “At Shaftec, we put the customer at the very heart of our business and are proud of the premium product we supply.

“We make it our business to be first to market with new products as soon as possible after the emergence of new makes and models, giving our customers fast access to the products they need.

“With our remanufactured products produced in-house to matching OE quality standards at our dedicated UK facility – we have total control over the materials and processes which are used to make our products.

Constant availability

This also means that for our UK customers, there are no borders to cross or import and export issues; simplifying the supply chain and meaning we can offer constant availability even under challenging conditions.”

With a product range of over 12,000 part numbers available, Shaftec continues steadily to gain market share in the European independent aftermarket.
