TRICO has announced that it has joined PACT, the joint connectivity initiative between eparts and TecCom, and will enjoy access to more than 2000 motor factor locations throughout the UK.
Motor factor branches will be able to seamlessly connect and trade with the supplier through their MAM Software systems.
In return, TRICO will be able to send dispatch notes and invoices electronically, eradicating human error and improving efficiency.
After acquiring almost 100 years’ experience, TRICO has established itself as a leader in the development and innovation of wiper blades, providing OE products to vehicle manufacturers worldwide.
Recently, PACT has experienced growth in the number of trading relationships in the automotive aftermarket, fuelled by the introduction of new suppliers like TRICO, but also through growth in the commercial vehicle parts aftermarket.
Peter Hollowood, TecCom director, said: “PACT is now very much accepted as the industry standard for electronic trading and it is great to see that leading suppliers, such as TRICO, are embracing this form of trading technology. TRICO is a fantastic addition to the ever-growing list of aftermarket companies signing up to PACT and we’re confident that they will experience long term benefits.”
Michael Ballinger, TRICO AM sales director Europe, said: “Becoming PACT enabled is part of TRICO’s ongoing growth and development plans in the UK aftermarket and ensures parts distributors have instant access to the our increasingly wide range of wiper blades.”
