The latest weekly tool review video from Laser Tools and its associated brands features Paul “Shep” Shepherd and his round up of useful workshop tools.

The cooling system pressure tester is supplied with a comprehensive set of adaptor caps which fit a wide range of vehicles to locate system leaks.

Adaptors have quick-release couplings and pump is fitted with large, easy to read dial clearly marked in both psi and bar.

The universal camshaft and injection pump pulley puller, which has a multi-position design to fit most sprockets, features a slim and compact design, ideal for use in tight areas.

In the current lockdown, this battery charger is just the thing for all types of vehicle battery including lead acid, wet, AGM, gel.

Microprocessor control adjusts current to match battery type and condition. LCD screen indicates charge level.

Available soon is the brand new wheel nut extractor socket set (part number 7920) that combines three deep alloy wheel sockets with protective sleeve with a set of three cold-forged sockets specially designed to remove damaged wheel nuts and bolts.

Meanwhile, Power-TEC track-rod end pliers are useful for when a vehicle is accident damaged and the track rod end has come away from the steering coupling (or severely worn and popped out), then reassemble the track-rod end and clamp the specially designed pliers to hold it securely.

It allows the vehicle to be moved onto a recovery trailer or into the workshop for repairs.
