Queries about the new MOT security cards, MOT test fees and concerns about the DVSA’s award for last year’s roll out of the new MOT testing service have been put forward to the agency in the latest issue of GW Views.

In an exclusive interview, the DVSA revealed that new security cards are undergoing trials and test stations will begin to receive them as early as next month.

The agency also confirmed that it is currently working with the Department for Transport on a review of MOT test fees ahead of a formal consultation in 2017 – read the full interview here and share your comments.

Elsewhere in the issue, GW sits in on a ZF clutch training course, GWTV reports on the future of diagnostics with Hickleys at the Bosch service and training centre in Uxbridge, and a reader reviews the new SIP heat induction tool.

We also catch up with industry expert, Andy Savva and GW reader, Mark Kettle at EAC Telford to discuss productivity and business strategy.

If you have a story that you think needs covering, or have a strong opinion on an industry matter, let us know.

We’re also looking for readers to help review some of the latest tools and services.
