Managing director at Carnies Autocentre in Edinburgh, Gillian Shaw has overseen the marketing efforts at her husband’s business for the past four years.

While that’s not particularly helpful, Gillian told GW that you have to “test the water” to find out what works for you and what doesn’t.

“Our marketing has evolved over the last four years and we continue to monitor how it performs,” she explained.

With a keen interest in marketing and a diploma in social media for business, Gillian has been closely monitoring her marketing tactics and has overseen a significant increase in business as a direct result.
