A Wigan mechanic has been charged with fraud for allegedly issuing MOT certificates without carrying out the required tests.
Stuart Banks, 32, is accused of issuing 30 false MOT certificates between February and May 2023. The charges allege that he dishonestly represented that MOT tests had been conducted when they had not.
The case has been adjourned until September 20th, when Banks is expected to enter a plea.
