LKQ Euro Car Parts is offering both three-year (£550.00) and five-year (£995.00) service and warranty packages on any new air con machine purchased with them during the last 12 months.

The warranty covers all call out charges, engineer labour and mileage, and machine components. The cost also includes annual services.

New air con faults are expected to peak with many cars have sat idle during lockdown, while the summer season always means high demand for air con servicing ahead – just in time for hay fever and the warmer weather.

With few garages offering systems testing, adding it as a service means a workshop can go the extra mile for its customers.

Colin Cottrell, marketing and central operations director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “It’s often the case that drivers won’t have noticed a drop-off in the performance of their air conditioning – as long as it blows cold air, they’ll assume it’s working.
