LKQ Euro Car Parts is offering £50 off hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance courses through its AutoEducation Academy, at levels two, three and four.
Level 2 is the most popular course and covers routine maintenance activities and terminology, as well as providing technicians with a thorough understanding of the construction and function of hybrid-electric systems.
Level 3 builds on this to cover system repair and replacement, as well as more advanced electrical regeneration, rectification and regulation skills – and Level 4 extends further into diagnostics, testing and advanced repairs.
All courses cover essential safety considerations for technicians working with high-voltage operations and components.
LKQ Euro Car Parts is offering free IMI affiliate membership, worth £47, when you sign up for light vehicle MOT CPD online training and assessment (£59 per candidate) or assessment only (£29 per candidate) through its AutoEducation Academy – both options include three assessment attempts.
Adam White, workshop solutions director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “Hybrids – and longer-term, electric vehicles – represent a huge opportunity for garages to tap into a new and growing customer base.
“Our AutoEducation Academy offers technicians the opportunity to enhance their technical confidence, equipping them with the skills and systems they need to take advantage of this key revenue stream and run successful businesses, now and in the future.”
