“Portable” and “accessible” penlight for technicians available with Unilite
Unilite's latest penlight has been released with portability and accessibility in mind.

Unilite, a global lighting manufacturer, has announced that its UK-P2R penlight provides an “accessible”, “portable”, and “safe” solution for workshop lighting, and is now available to technicians.

In a statement, Unilite explained some of the benefits of the UK-P2R and how users can maximise its potential. The company said: “Sometimes in a garage, all you need is a small amount of light to complete a task or have a quick check of something.

“That’s where the UK-P2R rechargeable penlight comes in to play.”

With a 210 Lumen output, its beam can be changed between a flood and spot, depending on the nature of work.

This beam is further supported by an optical lens, delivering a smooth, even spread of light, Unilite has said.

To save on running costs, it is powered by an integral lithium-ion battery which can be easily charged via micro-USB.

This has a red-to-green charging indicator, letting you know when its ready to use again.

Protection and portability for technicians

Keeping the UK-P2R safe is a die cast aluminum housing; this provides protection against the typical day to day challenges faced by a mechanic, Unilite has said.

When not in use, its pocket clip helps to keep it attached to clothing, making it readily accessible for when its needed.

With the addition of a rear magnet, it can even be used as portable handsfree lighting.
