Automechanika Birmingham 2025, the UK’s largest automotive trade exhibition, is experiencing a notable increase in registration numbers as it prepares to return to the NEC, Birmingham from 3 – 5 June 2025.
Early visitor registrations have already exceeded those for the 2023 show, with a 9% overall increase in visitor registrations and 70% representing new attendees. The event has attracted significant interest from garage professionals, technicians, workshop owners, bodyshop professionals, detailers, and students.
The 2025 edition is set to feature over 550 exhibitors, more than 50 new product launches, exclusive giveaways, and a packed programme of technical training, panel discussions, and live demonstrations across five dedicated feature areas.
Joanne Knowles, Event Director at Messe Frankfurt, the organisers of Automechanika Birmingham, commented on the positive momentum, noting the industry’s readiness to connect, learn, and evolve. She highlighted that the show offers essential tools, training, and insights to help the sector keep pace with rapid technological advancements, evolving business models, and high demand for skills.
Attendees can look forward to expert-led sessions in areas such as the Workshop Hub (sponsored by Delphi, in association with Autotechnician), Aftermarket Hub (sponsored by eBay), and Innovation4Mobility (in association with SMMT). Topics will cover EV adoption and repair, AI and automation, challenges facing the sector, customer communication, and sustainable mobility.
New features for this year include the Thirty Under 30 Awards, which will recognise the next generation of industry talent, and Automechanika Motorvate, designed to showcase career paths, training, and recruitment opportunities within the sector and address perceptions.
Beyond being a trade show, Automechanika Birmingham 2025 will host leading exhibitors from over 25 countries, including Alliance Automotive Group/NAPA/APEC, Autotech Group, Autel, Bosch, Castrol and The Race Group, Delphi, LKQ Euro Car Parts/Emotive, MAHLE Aftermarket, and Snap-on. These exhibitors will present their latest products, technology, and advice, making the event a key gathering for automotive and bodyshop professionals.
Richard Atkinson, Managing Director of Atkinson Auto Tech Ltd, shared his positive experience, noting a 25% business growth after attending the previous event and confirming more of his team will attend in 2025. Knowles reinforced that the biennial event is a must-attend for industry professionals.
