With just one week remaining, Automechanika Birmingham 2025 is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors, including mechanics, garage owners, bodyshop and detailing professionals, students, and car enthusiasts, to the NEC from 3 – 5 June.
The event offers a prime opportunity to explore the latest tools, technology, training, and trends in the heart of the UK’s automotive industry. A preview of the event’s offerings can be found in the recently launched official event preview.
Automechanika Birmingham will feature over 550 leading automotive aftermarket brands, including 3M, Bosch, Castrol, Delphi, Brembo, HELLA, Indasa, LIQUI MOLY, LKQ Euro Car Parts, SATA, Snap-On, and Walcom. Attendees can discover cutting-edge equipment, exclusive product launches, and benefit from over £50,000 worth of show-only deals, discounts, giveaways, and competitions.
The event also provides more than 150 hours of free technical training, covering the latest trends and live demonstrations. Topics range from diagnostics and EV servicing to ADAS calibration and paint and spray techniques, with insights directly from leading industry experts and manufacturers.
Key features for technicians include the Workshop Training Hub, offering technical seminars on advancements and challenges in service, repair, and maintenance. The Aftermarket Hub will host discussions on trends and advice for future-proofing businesses. Visitors can explore the future of mobility at the Innovation4Mobility Hub, covering new technology, electrification, autonomous mobility, and net zero.
For bodyshops and detailers, the Body Repair Live stage will feature practical demonstrations and highlight innovations in body repair. The Paint & Spray Live stage will host expert demonstrations and showcase the latest tools for automotive refinishing within a fully operational spray booth.
The show will also host a number of automotive personalities, including TV personality and technician Edd China, who will discuss his EV training journey with Headline Sponsor Bosch Training Solutions. British Touring Car Championships (BTCC) drivers Dan Rowbottom and Dan Cammish from NAPA Racing Team UK, influencer Baz Meredith, and drifter Steve ‘Baggsy’ Biagioni are also scheduled to appear.
A significant new addition this year is Motorvate, designed to inspire young people to explore career opportunities in the automotive industry. Motorvate features hands-on challenges, interactive demonstrations, and opportunities to meet industry professionals, including BTCC drivers and top technicians, presenting automotive careers in an engaging way for students, school leavers, and jobseekers in Birmingham.
Joanne Knowles, Event Director at Messe Frankfurt, acknowledged the current challenges for garages, mechanics, and bodyshop professionals but affirmed that Automechanika Birmingham is designed to assist them.
