MANN-FILTER, the global premium filter brand, has received the 2025 PARTSLIFE Environmental Award for its filters featuring wood-based impregnation. The award ceremony took place on 17 June at the PROTOTYP Automuseum in Hamburg.
MANN-FILTER was recognised in the “Circular Economy” category for its approach of using lignin, a renewable raw material, in its filters. This innovation aims to conserve resources and reduce the ecological footprint of their products.
The €3,000 prize money from the award will be donated to the German Forest Protection Association, a non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting and preserving forests since 1947.
Marian Anton, Business Development Manager at MANN+HUMMEL, commented, “This award is important to us. It highlights that our commitment to greater sustainability in filtration is acknowledged. For us, using environmentally friendly materials like renewable raw materials is a core principle. It also acknowledges the work of our project team and the collaboration with our partner Gessner, motivating us to continue making our solutions more environmentally friendly.”
