Laser Tools introduces new suspension arm lever adaptor

Tool designed to simplify challenging suspension work by providing enhanced leverage and control

Laser Tools introduces new suspension arm lever adaptor

Working with vehicle suspension components, such as struts, ball joints, and suspension arms, can often be challenging. Laser Tools has launched a new Suspension Arm Lever Adaptor (part number 9186), designed to provide technicians with improved leverage and control during these tasks.

This adaptor converts any standard ½″ drive breaker bar, power bar, or long-handled ratchet into a lever. It allows technicians to securely hold suspension arms down and out of the way, which can simplify the process of separating lower or upper joints safely and efficiently.

The key advantages of using this tool include:

  • Maximized leverage: It multiplies the force applied through standard ½″ drive tools, aiding access to struts and ball joints.
  • Improved access and visibility: The adaptor holds the control arm securely downwards, improving visibility and reach to the joint being removed.
  • Enhanced safety: It helps prevent the suspension arm from springing back unexpectedly, protecting both the technician and surrounding components like brake lines, hoses, and wiring.

The adaptor features universal ½″ drive compatibility and includes three ½″ drive holes, allowing for multiple attachment angles to ensure optimal clearance in confined wheel arch areas. Manufactured from S45C steel with a yellow passivate finish, it is designed for durability and corrosion resistance. It is supplied with two screw-in steel pins for positive leverage on the suspension arm.

The 9186 Suspension Arm Lever Adaptor is available from Laser Tools stockists and online retailers.
