Yuasa has launched the new SWL+ series of VRLA batteries, building on the success of its existing SWL line. The new series is designed to provide reliable standby power for a range of critical infrastructure, including banks, airports, and city landmarks.
For over 40 years, Yuasa has been a leading name in VRLA solutions, and the SWL+ series elevates these standards with enhanced features. The batteries are engineered for use in applications such as large-scale facilities, data centres, and healthcare services, where dependable backup power is essential to avoid outages and support emergency systems.
Key features of the SWL+ series include a longer design life of 15 years at 20°C and 12 years at 25°C, and enhanced high-rate discharge performance. The batteries are constructed using Hybrid Pure Lead and HT Element X Alloy™, representing advanced engineering. Yuasa states the new series offers quality without compromise, backed by decades of proven success with the SWL name.
The company also highlights that the batteries are environmentally sound, with up to 98% of the product being recyclable and manufactured in the UK. The extended life and improved operating temperature range of the SWL+ series are said to provide capital expenditure savings and reduced energy costs.
The new SWL+ series is positioned as a solution for businesses that require uncompromised reliability for powering vital data and major infrastructure.
