Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial, and aftermarket industries, has revealed that its current Managing Director of EMEA Aftermarket, Ruggero Semola, shall retire at the end of October 2025.
Ruggero Semola served with Dayco for more than six years, a period during which the Dayco EMEA Aftermarket division grew its revenue by more than 50%.
He was recruited as the company’s Managing Director in 2019 and played a significant role in successfully guiding the EMEA and Italy operations through considerable changes. He is credited with positioning them well for the future.
Commenting on his forthcoming retirement, Ruggero said: “It has been an honor to have been part of the Dayco family, and although we have had to face some sizable challenges over the last six years, as a team, we have overcome the difficulties and enjoyed much success together”.
Ruggero will also be remembered for his contribution as a Board member of Dayco Europe Srl, and his leadership across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
He will continue in his role until he leaves the business at the end of the month, at which point Marco Meliga will take over his responsibility as Managing Director of EMEA Aftermarket.
