Banner has expanded its product offering with four new AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) and EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) models. The expansion is a direct response to the increasing electrical demands of modern commercial and passenger vehicles.
The new additions include:
- One new AGM battery for commercial vehicle and plant applications.
 - Three new EFB models suited to start-stop passenger cars, hybrid, and electric vehicles.

The four new types are designed to accommodate the power demands of modern start-stop systems, additional electric consumers, and alternative drive types.
Lee Quinney, Country Manager, Banner Batteries (GB) Ltd, explained the strategy: “The new products are a direct response to Banner’s commitment to meet both changing market and customer needs.”
He added that the expansion is an important step in continuing to offer the most comprehensive coverage possible of the European aftermarket vehicle fleet through the supply of OE-quality battery technology.
In the commercial sector, the new Buffalo Bull AGM 670 01, with 170 Ah capacity, is designed as a replacement for conventional HD, SHD, and EFB batteries of its size. It features a significantly longer service life and maximum reliability, offering a triple cycle life compared to SHD batteries. Its special plate fixation also provides maximum vibration resistance, and improved cold-start performance ensures reliable starting.
Lee Quinney emphasised the value for commercial users: “When it comes to trucks, agricultural and construction machinery, as well as snow groomers, investing in AGM technology is proven to pay off through a significantly lower risk of failure, longer service life, and reduced maintenance costs, and these are areas where the new Buffalo Bull AGM 670 01 will offer clear added value.”
The new range offers precisely fitting solutions for almost all vehicle segments, providing reliability and efficiency by reducing the total cost per operating cycle.
