Lewis Selby, Managing Director of NAPA Auto Parts UK and Ireland and a MINI Challenge driver, is undertaking a 4-day, 410-mile charity bike ride from Milton Keynes to Knockhill. This initiative aims to raise funds for Race Against Dementia, a charity dedicated to accelerating research into dementia.
Selby’s challenge is part of NAPA Racing UK’s broader support for Race Against Dementia. This includes fundraising activities at the Knockhill race weekend and opportunities for fans to donate to have their names added to the BTCC and MINI race cars or transporters. Profits from selected charity merchandise sold at the trackside NAPA Auto Parts shop will also contribute to the cause.
The meticulously planned route includes stop-offs at various NAPA Auto Parts locations, highlighting community and team support. The journey will begin with a visit to Alliance Racing, followed by stops at NAPA Auto Parts in Commercial Leicester, Sutton, Rotherham (Alliance Automotive Logistics NDC), Selby, Sunderland, and Alnwick. A significant penultimate stop will be at the Race Against Dementia Research Centre before concluding at Knockhill Circuit, where his MINI Challenge teammates and the wider NAPA Racing UK team will cheer him across the finish line.
Lewis Selby expressed his motivation, stating, “It’s going to be tough, but I’ve been training hard and preparing to give it my all. Visiting the NAPA Auto Parts stores along the way will make the journey even more rewarding, as I get to connect with our teams and supporters while raising awareness for such an important cause.”
Fans are invited to follow Lewis’s progress and support the cause. More information on Lewis’s Ride Against Dementia and other fundraising activities can be found by clicking here.
