NAPA Racing UK to run iconic Valvoline livery on MINI Challenge car

NAPA Racing UK will continue to celebrate its partnership with Valvoline by running a special edition 1990s-inspired livery on Lewis Selby’s MINI Challenge JCW car. The design will appear at the Silverstone and Brands Hatch GP rounds of the Championship.

The move follows a successful run at the Donington Park GP rounds of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), where Ash Sutton and Dan Cammish ran a similar livery on their Ford cars. Cammish secured a victory in his 200th BTCC race, with both drivers achieving podium finishes.

The “pint-sized BTCC” makeover on the #18 MINI F56 JCW features a reimagined version of the classic ValvolineV” livery. To complete the look, Lewis Selby will wear an exclusive Alpinestars racing suit and a custom helmet inspired by the legendary Al Unser Jr Valvoline design.

Lewis Selby, MINI Challenge Driver and NAPA Auto Parts Managing Director, said: “It’s an absolute honour to be racing in this incredible Valvoline livery that pays tribute to such a legendary era of motorsport.” He added, “With Valvoline products available through the NAPA Auto Parts network across the UK and Ireland, we are proud to offer our customers the same high performance and quality associated with our racing team.”

The team uses Valvoline SynPower engine oil, which is known for its performance-enhancing properties. NAPA Auto Parts is a distributor of Valvoline products in the UK and Ireland.
