NAPA Auto Parts UK and Ireland recently collaborated with NRF to conduct a tour across Scotland, offering technical support, hands-on training, and advice to NAPA Auto Parts customers. The initiative was supported by NRF’s new Tech Van, a mobile platform designed to assist technicians throughout the UK and Ireland.
The NRF Tech Van is equipped with NRF products and testing equipment, enabling technical specialists to provide problem-solving assistance and practical training on current and emerging vehicle technologies, including electric vehicles. This allows NRF to share its expertise directly with NAPA Auto Parts customers.
To further strengthen the partnership, NRF UK invited the NAPA Auto Parts team to participate in a “Name the Van” competition. The winning entry would have the honour of naming the van and receive a £250 Amazon voucher.
The winning name, ‘Air Con One’, was submitted independently by two NAPA Auto Parts staff members, Shane Keen and Charlton Lockey. The prize was shared between the winners, and the chosen name will now be displayed on NRF’s upgraded Tech Van as it travels throughout the UK and Ireland.
This competition aimed to celebrate the collaboration between NRF and NAPA Auto Parts UK and Ireland and to highlight their shared objective of advancing the automotive industry. Both companies are committed to ensuring that technicians in the region have access to the necessary tools, training, and support to confidently address challenges within the sector.
